Greetings and welcome to my web site.
My name is Brad Cowan. I am a professional RF/microwave, electromagnetics, antenna/EM and communication systems engineer / consultant with 20+ years of experience in RF circuits, subsystems, and systems design -- all of it in an R&D and product or system development environment. I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1987 with courses in electromagetics, fields & waves, microwaves, analog electronics, and semiconductor device physics. In addition I have taken graduate courses in Fourier analysis, active microwave circuits, antennas, radiowave propagation, and net-enabled electronic warfare at Santa Clara University and Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. I have received numerous achievement awards including an Employee Recognition Award for a CDMA Spectral Emissions analysis as well as an Employee Achievement Award for a Phase Noise vs. Modulation analysis. I am currently enrolled in a MSEE program at Naval Postgraduate School with an emphasis in EW/Sensor Systems Engineering.
